Hasbro are super-careful. They might get away with some things, but their legal department just says "Possibility of lawsuit = no way".
If Ravage gets a second mold, Prowl should come back as a Nissan Z, like he always should've been. I'm still pondering whether or not I should write a letter to VW and Hasbro for them to reach a compromise on Bumblebee, though I don't think it'll ever happen... Just like the Lambos. But, then again, never say never.
DN: No, they don't want to be associated with war toys. This is all the more amusing since they own 15% of MAN and 18% of Scania (and in the pursuit of Yet More Global Oligopoly are pushing to merge these two heavy-truck makers into one company under VW control). http://pao.hood.army.mil/1cd_15thfsb/photogallery/photo10722/Scania%20(27Jan-03Feb)0009.jpg http://www.armyrecognition.com/europe/Hollande/Exhibition/Dutch_Army_Open_Days_2005/pictures/MAN_Truck_ArmyRecognition_Netherlands_01.jpg I suppose medium and heavy transport trucks are not weapons of war. Of course, you have to remember that a company that was founded by Nazis and grew up making vehicles for the Third Reich is going to have a *sliiiiiiiight* image problem to avoid. Hence, I think, the distaste for 'war toys'.
L: Any of those four would make me happy-happy, as would a Zil limousine or a Hindustan Ambassador, or perhaps some lesser-known classic American car like a Hudson Hornet or a Kaiser Manhattan.
in the 1950's the worst car wreck at an autorace ever was when a Mercedes Benz race car lost control, flew into the crowd killed the driver and a dozen spectators. That car, with Nazi markings, and a big freeking Megatron gun I can guarentee will never be an Alternator
Nissan 350Z. I love that car, but them 3 Nissan brothers already got new Subarus and Hondas for new bodies. Meh.
