Just did some "ended auction" searches on eBay cause I'm thinking of selling some more of my alts. Thing is, the guys that were bringing $100+ ( Swerve, Camshaft, and Prowl ) were only showing at about $50 each. Are the prices coming down, or is this just a fluke? You'd think the movie buzz would keep the price up.

    Thoughts?

Prowl never went for $100 in 2007.

BBTS, known for their higher-than usual prices, sold both Alternators and Binaltech variants sealed for $75 or less.

Actually, he did. There was a thread here on tfw drawing attention to an auction where he went for like $140. I did a quick ebay search at that time to see several of them in the $130 range. Everyone was like, WTF? cause Prowl was never considered rare.

I don't remember seeing Camshaft ever going higher then the $40-50 range...Heck, Mirage goes for more the Camshaft. The big sellers have always been Swerve, Decepticharge, Mirage and Camshaft (in that order). And Swerve still goes for more then $100 MISB and in the $70-80 range if opened.

holy crap, I can understand the red box prowl going for a bit of money, but the shelf-clogging bubble-boxed prowl? holy crap.

I agree except that Mirage seems to go for more than Decepticharge but I do see less Deceptichargers than Mirage. I don't think they are coming down in price I just think that a pretty sizable amount of collectors are focusing on the new stuff. More new stuff usually means a lack of interest in older stuff.
    Just my thought.
