All I got to say is back when it came out, I had some family emergency that made me miss it in the big screen. I know I swore to see it when it came out but it was what it was. Today tho it just became available online and I bought it just like the others. Although my previous assessment without having seen it still stands that it's more or less similar to the previous installments based on the previous movie (age of extinction) and that the run time is too long, there are actually several badass moments in the movie. Some quick points as I watch the movie: - the scene with canopy could've been better. Isabella could've placed her hand on canopy's face for maximum effect. - the decepticons quickly disposed of sucks. - cogman is a good character and I enjoy his scenes. - cogman singing while Anthony Hopkins character tells a story was hilarious. - hotrod scanning another alt mode is good. - Cybertron's design in bay's series still sucks. - hotrod talking in alt mode rocked. This should happen more & with the other Transformers. - I like hotrod's time freeze weapon. - I wish the submarine Transformer transformed. - again, the basic physics in bay's movies lacking as Cybertron travels through the solar system and gets closer to Earth without disturbing anything on Earth. I'm probably 25% into the movie now, but so far I do not really see anything that I'd say I dislike so much. I'm probably gonna wrap up soon as I'd have to prepare for work and watch it again this Friday. So far tho, so good. I wish I could've seen this in the big screen, but.... I'm gonna be back for more details or to respond later. But as stated whatever moments I found interesting in this movie are not that dissimilar from the others. The secret Transformers history I guess is just something we have to deal with in bay's series. Just my biggest thing is cybertron's design and looks still are not good and I don't know why it's now smaller.
