Now it seems clear that Takara Tomy will be continuing the awesome Alternity series, I decided it was time to do a top five list. What should be fun about the Alternity series is (like Binaltech's) every character will be a vehicle but unlike Binaltech, there is no limitation to what type of vehicle. I think both Optimus Prime and Megatron are the perfect examples. Most people would expect both characters to be of larger vehicles perhaps, even trucks but no, we finally get to see these guys as fast sports cars. So, with that in mind, here are my top five (in no particular order): 1. Jazz - He's just such an iconic character to me. Yes, he seems like an easy choice as he can easily be any fast looking white sports car but hey, he's Jazz! 2. Soundwave - Yes, another iconic character, However, other than his original toy as a tape player and maybe the MP3 player toy, I never really felt he got a cool reimagining of the character. 3. Wheeljack - It's all about his head. He has such a unique head in the Transformers universe, I would love to see another cool toy of this fella. 4. Springer - That's right! I always liked Springer and with all the crazy Japanese racers, it wouldn't be uncommon for Takara to get that bright fluorescent green done right. 5. Shockwave - Another pretty obvious choice but he was done so well in the Binaltech series, why not give it another go in the new smaller scale? I could have probably easily made this a top ten list because there are so many characters I'd love to see. I'll just ramble off a few more: Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Silverstreak, Hound, Skywarp, Perceptor, Ravage, Ironhide, Mirage, Grimlock, Shrapnel, Bombshell, heck, who am I kidding? I want them all!
If anything, I'd want all the mini bots. Brawn, Gears, Windcharger, Huffer and a Cliffjumper that's not a repaint of Bumble Bee.
What do you expect from Cliffjumper? That's what he is. I'd like to see some version of Ratchet and Ultra Magnus in Alternity.
I want a new head and a diffrent alt. mode. They can be similar and have the same basic transformation, just a new shell. Poor Cliffjumper, he's much cooler than BB but always stuck in his shadow.
My sentiment exactly, I was disappointed when the Bin/Alt lines were nixed so I'd like to see some new characters that didn't appear in those lines. For instance: Soundwave, Trailbreaker, Ironhide, Ratchet, Brawn, Beachcomber, Wheelie, All the Stunticons (G1 colored Dead-End), Blurr, Octane, or Springer
I want all the toys produced so far at 1:24 scale. I suppose that's too much for me to wish for though.

If this line did a Jazz, he'd look about right chilling with the Universe / Classics guys. So I say Jazz and any of the other guys who've yet to get Classics representations.
