They've added them to the shop pages, and removed the part about the new heads in the description. Honestly though, I'm pretty certain the statement back when these were first listed, was that they would not have new heads. I'm not really sure where people got the idea that they would.
I'll be the first to eat my hat about being wrong about new heads. Evidence pointed to new heads, and then Fate was all like "Nah man". I'm a little disappointed, but I was honestly kinda diggin the Dai Atlas repaint head anyway, so no big loss. EDIT: Just saw the close-up of Dai Atlas' head. Really like it. Anyone else think it looks kinda like TFW's very own Boombox, despite the orange crest?
I just looked at Dai Atlas on TFWiki, and with the exception of the head, they did a decent job on it. I forgot about the toy having those orange parts, because the show and later products all make them yellow.

Well, to be fair Torque, RK said so in the pre-order description. That's about as official as we'd get unless TT came out in the hobby magazines and showed so. Maybe robotkingdom was just reading up on tfw2005 and saw that there would be new headsculpts and added it in there
Coincidentally I packed away my Alternity BB and CJ two days ago (in a shelf-clearing frenzy to make way for the iGear coneheads). Even though he'd only been transformed ONCE, when I first got him, Cliffjumper's paint has already flaked off around some of the bodywork joints. Now that he's back in alt-mode he suddenly doesn't look like an expensive collector's item anymore. I'm thinking it's to do with the metallic paint (BB seems fine), which doesn't fill me with confidence for Goldbug...
Well, I like the Dai Atlas mock up. I don't own the mold and, if it's a reasonable price, I'll jump. The only thing that could spoil it would be if the new head mold is rubbish. Though, really, Alternity really needs to squeeze out Thundercracker or, controversially, Slipstream, from the not-Seeker mold.
Could just be your CJ. mine's been in and out of alt mode a few times and has no flaked off paint. He's been on display since the day I got him when he released.
i hope they dont get new heads. I'm a big powered convoy guy so I'd like to leave the blue prime as is
I have the blue Megatron for BW Megatron (love the reprolabels!). I might get Dai Atlas for Optimal Optimus (since they never did stickers for the black Prime).
GAH....! You just made me need that dude now! I love Powered Convoy. Bee is a pass unless he gets a new head. Hopefully they sell enough to continue the line with new molds soon.
