Yes, he's a complex little bugger. Glad you sorted it. Mine looks awesome on the shelves.

By far, the single most complicated figure to transform in my collection. I haven't dared try to convert him back to alt mode yet. He makes BT Grimlock look like a piece of cake in comparison...but I love him anyway!

its just the legs that are buggers reallyspecifically pegging the left foot into place. pegs alwaysat a slight angle to the hole

btw, will this line ever be getting a hasbro release?

I found that leaving a small gap between the black fender/exhaust area and the rest of the leg section solves that peg problem right quick. No stress marks, cracking, crumbling or anything of the sort going on with my Convoy's left foot.

I'm pretty sure Peaugh makes mention of it in his video review in the Feedback section. In fact, I'm pretty sure that's where I got the idea from...

Anyway, I'll be taking some comparison pics of Convoy with another figure and posting in the discussion thread in Feedback when I get home from work today (if I can remember to that is) now that I've finally found my camera...how it wound up in the glove box of my car is beyond me...

    And back in Ireland, too.

I actually used that part in a story - that the 'mech in question didn't notice that in the city he went to scout out, all the other cars were left hand drive...

I agree that this figure is great - and to take a leaf from LightningZERO's playbook, my silver A-01 is, in my mind, a modern-Earth Optimus Primal, without doubt.

And the blue A-02 will be, to me, a Predacon Megatron! Yessss...

(I hope if Hasbro ever release it here, that they stick a Maximal emblem on the silver version and officially call it Primal!)

So for all you peeps that drive from the right seat, does the stick shift still have 1st gear in the upper left usually? I know that's not always standard here in the U.S., but most cars have 1st in the upper left.

Yup. The gear stick config for most Right Hand Drive cars here is like this:

    1 3 5
    2 4 R

    Same in US cars.

When I visited Ireland, my dad said he was thrown off because the driver's side was reversed, but the gear shifting was the same, and he had to get used to shifting with his left hand, rather than his right. I don't remember if the pedals were the same or not, but I imagine they were... I didn't get to drive at all.

Here's a shot of the gap I meant to leave. I double checked the peg and hole before taking the picture and still, not so much as any slight discolouration or a crack or anything. Plus, I think the gap makes the legs look a little better.

Sorry for how blurry it is...camera is acting up again...

i tried that but it didnt work. its still at an angle to the hole and ive seen what looks like a small crack forming so im leaving it just sitting by the hole instead of in it until i can sort it. hopefully alternity megs wont have such a problem

As Peaugh mentions in his video, it's due to the Nissan logo being kept intact on the left leg during transformation instead of just splitting down the middle. Throws everything on the left leg off by just that little bit.
