I've had my Alternity Convoy for a couple days now, and I've fallen in love with the sleek and sexy mold. It's intricate, detailed and worth the price of admission. That is why I am very tempted to get the Super Black version, to have a Decepticon Convoy to combat the Autobot Commander.

Does anyone who has purchased the new figures agree with me? Does the mold, in your opinions, deserve the second purchase in the form of "Nemesis Prime"?

It truly is a gorgeous piece to add to any collection. I would love to pick up the silver version to go with with the Vibrant Red, but the price tag is a little on the hefty side for a figure of its size. Sure, it has a complex transformation and some great gimmicks (automorph chest), die-cast and a stunning paint job, but it shouldn't cost just as much as it's much larger, heftier and just as beautifully painted BT-22 cousin.

Being that I'm going to buy the Megatron after seeing how good this is, naw. It's not worth another 50. If it was voyager sized, or inscale with other alternators, yeah. But's just to tiny to buy it just for a repaint.

I REALLY wanted a 1:24 version of the Nissans. Now I have to resort to reshells. Thank you, TakaraTOMY, thank you for making me do more work.

The mold YES, the price NO!

If the price point was better I would gladly buy the Nemmi repaint. But since it isnt, and the Megatron will be so close in transformation to Prime I just cant Justify the cost.

Yeah, there's going to be a "Nemesis Prime" version. Can't wait for it. I like Megatron, but the Convoy mold is so good that I would get the Decepticon version of that instead.

My bro CDNShockwave was blown away by this toy so I think I'm going to have to be on the lookout at TFCon for him now.

Great mold indeed, since getting both the red and silver versions I've decided to get all the rest, awesome line really. Nice detail, great transformations and a nice size

Alternity Convoy is one of the best toy I own.

Although I don't know if it's worth buying the same mold twice, you must have at least ONE!!!

I highly recommend Alternity Convoy. Just be careful pegging in his "insignia" side (i.e. left foot) peg.

i prefer the red one but it seems to be mostly sold out, and the price has really jumped, so i will probably be just as happy with the silver one lol.

I'm thinking of getting one if the price is right come Botcon. I'll probably go for the silver, the mold looks awesome in silver.

Looks great in red, too, but I personally like the sleek, clean look that the silver one has.

Yep. I adored the G1 cars as a kid, and Binaltech, Alternators, and Alternity makes me feel like G1 grew up, even as I grew up.

They are, to me, the full manifestation of what is great about TFs.

Alternity is the epitome of Transformer technology. I really like the Convoy mold, and I guess I'm one of the few who do think it's worth another purchase.

I think the mold looks fantastic, but I can't afford to pay such a hefty price at the moment. Does anyone know how much he costs in Japan?
