no. It's too niche and too costly to make for the mass market even with out their die cast.

Don't see it happening sadly. Alternity releases aren't too expensive so just pick them up as they are released...or scour the Junkion area here for deals. I just picked up a MIB Alternity Megs for $45.

Hasbro more or less ruled it out at Botcon, they said that the licensing deals on that line were between Takara-Tomy and the car manufacturers only.

More than likely it wont happen with the cost to License the Vehicles and the price increase for profit we would be looking at probably $25-30 delx. sized toys. They just would sell enough to make it a good decision.

Eh. The Fairlady Z and Skyline (370Z and GTR) don't exactly hit the same note with Americans as they do the Japanese. Kind of goes for Nissans in general.

Doubt it. The line is too expensive with the die-cast, and they don't have as wide a selection of car models as Alts did, at leat until Car MFG's started joining the "don't want our product associated with war toys" bandwagon.

Although I honestly think that being associated WITH Transformers would be a small pasive benefit to car sales, but only a small percentage of car MFG's are starting to see advertising potential which GM has a nice exclusive contract over right now, as evidenced by the Audi R8 having 15 seconds of exposure before SS sliced Sideways in half.

They are easy enough to get from Japan. As has been said, I doubt the cost of getting a lisence would make it Hasbro's worthwhile.

I'm with ya I've own several nissian Z's and 240sx's but overall there are more people out there who dont know what they are and probably wouldn't pay the prem. they would command outside of the die-hards.
