Has anyone else noticed, except for the occational Meister and Track, that Alternators are getting to be hard to come by? I have yet to see a Mirage anywhere and only seen Prime and Camshaft once. Thoughts?
Mirage is a Mirage. Camshaft went down the shaft. And it's just Prime, because I can't find Prime. Honestly, did Hasbro's distribution get as bad as the Titanium designers?
I see an awful lot of Skids (and only Skids, at this point)...which is unfortunate, cuz he's a pretty cool Alt.
they seem to be getting a good restock in my area, I just never catch them before theyre gone. out of the four Ive seen Prime twice Mirage four times Camshaft zero times Mesiter twice.
I know you were trying, but that made me cringe. Alts are hard to get here too... Skids everywhere, and Rico/Rollbar are starting to show up with more frequency, but nothing else.
Finally saw Prime for the first time the other day locally. Still have yet to see any Mirage's or Camshafts. Nothing but Tracks and left over Skids mostly.
Alt shipments seem to have drastically reduced at the stores in my area. Good thing I'm all caught up already...
i saw mirage and camshaft twice, prime about 5 times...have not seen mirage and camshaft since the day i bought them on July 27th 2006
Man and to think I've seen Camshaft 3-4 times now, and I'm in Canada...and people bitch that we never get anything
I've seen Prime and Mirage more times than I can count but Camshaft only twice. That was at least a month ago too. Since then, the stores haven't really restocked.
The toyRus's and walmarts have all stopped stocking alternators in southern cali. Only targets have them now.. and all i see are lots of tracks and few miesters.. havent see prime, mirage or camshaft for almost a month and a half. What is going On???
I've seen Nemesis Primes on specialty stores here in Manila,Philippines but never an Alt Optimus, Mirage or even a Camshaft. The last wave of Alts we got here in good quantity were Rollbar and Ricochet. In the department stores, there's a flood of blue-box Silverstreaks which I wish they'd put on sale someday.
I've seen Camshaft once, but the box was all messed up, so I passed. Haven't seen him since, and I want him! I've got Prime, Mirage, and Meister (missed him the first time).
I think it's the calm before the storm, Don't retailers hold back toy stock for a little bit to build up for the christmas rush? I think this last wave , the camshaft wave, will be everywhere this season because it's the last one for a while. Frenzy, ravage and such aren't stated for release till next year, so this camshaft wve will need to last a good 3 months+, (sept,oct, nov, dec).
Looks to me that you're getting there after they stock and also after someone else buys the Prime and Mirage. The first time I saw a bubble box Meister, I was kicking myself for not checking earlier.
I've opened the case of alts when they come in at my Target(s), and only once has it been a Camshaft case. The other times it was Prime/Mirage/Tracks/Meister.
