Hey guys, I'm working on a new Alternator - a lime green repaint of Grimlock - and I'd like to use another head. I was thinking we could use this thread to keep a list of which headswaps are capable for the Alternators - even if you're swapping the head with a Beast Wars, RID, Armada or Energon head.

Post your easy-to-do Alternators headswaps here!

Well...I just finished an Armada/Alternators Red Alert using Grimlock. The original Armada Red Alert head fit with no modification as long as you place a rubber grommett around the ball joint before attaching the head.
Here is the pic that explains what I am talking about:

Besides that...Silverstreak's head will fit Meister with a little hollowing out with a Dremel. I heard some people can make it fit without modification.

Hound's head will fit Smokescreen/Silverstreak if you shave the "neck" area down.

That black rubber grommett - where did you get it? The Red Alert head is really nicely proportioned in relation to the Ford Mustang Alternator mold.

By the way - f***ing awesome work on that Red Alert Alternator. It is absolutely beautiful.
