I've finally given up hope that Hasbro/Takara will ever make an offcial Binal/Alt Trailbreaker, so I went ahead and made one myself using Alt Nemesis Prime. I used Swindle's head and painted the face a darker shade of metallic grey, since I love his dark face from the cartoon. I also removed the paint from Swindle's visor and used clear blue glossy paint on it, giving it that same very cool see-through look that Jazz and Overdrive's visors have. I plugged the chrome piece from reissue Hoist and plugged it into the back of his head, and the shoulder launcher is from some G1 Transformer (no idea which one, I just have a big pile of weapons in a box that I picked from). I also removed his left hand and plugged in one of reissue Hoist's rockets.

For the truck mode, I used Alt Swindle's tires to give him that off-road look that Trailbreaker needs, and swapped out a clear windsheild from an extra Alt Prime and then just painted the roof black. I didn't like how the clear red windshield looked on him, made him look too much like Nemesis Prime still.

*update* The Reprolabels Alt Trailbreaker set just came in the mail and now he's complete!

Looks great! Although a little red would be nice. The blue/green from Scourge looks a little off... makes it difficult to define him as distinctly "Trailbreaker". But great job nonetheless. I'd never have the guts to repaint one of my TFs.

The visor on the head looks sweet.

    They look great.

Are you planning on taking off the Decepticon logo from Trailbreaker's shoulder.

I'm planning to do the same thing once I get my Wheeljack since I got my Grimlock today.

Get the repro labels for it. (wait never mind I see you are ordering them) That mold in my opinion was always ment to be trailbreaker. I remember people planning the bash as soon as they saw pics of nemisis prime.

Yes! I tried using a regular non-see through paint on it and just hated how it looked. I decided it had to be like the clear-blue Jazz and Overdrive visors to look right. The purple paint that was originally on it came right off with a little rubbing from a Q-Tip soaked in rubbing alcohol. The clear blue paint I used can be found in any hobby shop for just a few bucks. One coat is all I had to give it.

    altenator trailbraker

yes i got the reprolabels but they removed the intructions on how to do the swindle head swap for trailbraker so if you could give me or suggest on how to do it without ruining the figure

of course i cancut og the ball joint on swindles head and super glue it to nemesis prime body to get trailbraker
but that will be a hack and slash job and i will problaly ruin the figures

so if you have any suggestions i will appreciate it since reprolabels removed the intructions they just to have and dont whant to repost them

    thanks
