So I had this grand scheme to only do Armada characters since most people won't touch the characters... So, I hope you like...
Here's Bot-Mode (my preferred way): or the more G1 way: and here's his classic G1 weapon of choice, the shoulder cannon:
Here heis meeting Armada Red Alert...and like all comic team-ups...it starts with a confrontation... and ends with the inevitable team-up: With Sideswipe...his "body-brother" With my custom Prowl: With the real Prowl...er...Chip Chase...
That is very sweet! What would make it absolutely perfect is a little more white paint towards the rear of the front fender's underside (behind the thigh in your robot mode pictures).
Neato. But I just never could see a Fire chief riding in a sports car. Why are you refering to BT Prowl as Chip Chase? Is this his part in the BT story?
Yeah its part of the BinalTech story...supposedly Prowl's mind was lost in transit to the new BT story, so Chip Chase stepped in, and based on his memory of the lost hero, was able to create a new "Prowl/Chip Chase hybrid Autobot"
That Red Alert turned out awesome! I love the way to did the red/white, very sharp! That custom Prowl is some nice work too.
Excellent stuff. If the Sideswipe toy looked that good, there probably wouldn't be 3 million of them left in my local Target store!
Excellent work Now if some company would get the hint and put a little more into the figures, so many wouldn't be sitting on the shelves.
That does it.... I'm stealing this idea . I have an extra Sideswipe sitting around and a new technique to dye plastic white. Now if I could just get enough time off work to actually do some kitbashing...
I want them ALLLL! I love Red Alert. Original and Armada. Those customs are bitching. Prowl and Red the way you did it have to be some of the most amazing things I seen. And I don't really like Alts that much - I'd buy several just to get the customs you did cause they rock so much.
I can send you a High-Resolution image of the logos I used if you want...PM me. What is the technique you are using to dye plastic white...that would work so much better than paint! Share your method (unless its a secret...hahahah!)
Before I go telling it, I want to post some pics of the results as well as some does and don'ts. I've found that it is a good way to melt plastic, if not careful. As soon as I get the time to do the Spychanger Magnus and Cybertron Hot Rod, I'll post some pics and techniques.
