Another fine review. Only things I didn't like about Alt Prime was that from the side, he looks like a truck standing on its tailgate, and how short the legs are, but the leg issue is an easy fix.....
I like him. Mine has the reprolabels with the stripes to spruce him up. Mine unfortunately suffers from loose knees.
http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/tutor...rs-prime-leg-extension-tutorial-s-thread.html There's a couple of pics at the end...it really does make him noticeably taller. Mod isn't as hard as it looks either. I just did it to my latest Prime the other day...took me longer to cut the pieces of Styrene than it did to do the actual mod.
Hmm.. I don't fancy this mode, but I do have to admire how much detail the designers put into the engine and interior. Not easy to make a car model that transforms.. Anyhow, with the car doors sort of dangling next to his arms, are the arm articulations affected? And are the side front parts of the truck shoulder pads, or they just sit there and the parts which have the Autobot symbol are the shoulders?
The leg mod makes him taller and better looking. Gives him better proportions. There's also the mod so you can swivel down the shoulder/door pieces so the doors look more like they're coming off his back/shoulders instead of just hanging by his arms.
