I would just like to Announce... Main Body paint is DONE!!!!

yup yup... With the adition of a recent purchase of some replacement parts (For the left leg). I got the last parts painted tonight.

Now i just need to do the trim (gold) and clear coat the parts, Nightbeat is a few days away...

 

Sweet, I've been looking forward to seeing this guy done.

Yea in between me working on Classics/IDW Jazz and Red Alert and waiting for Classics Sideswipe so I can do a repro of the head for RA... I've been getting Nightbeat done.

 

Today seems to have been a bad day personally as well as getting home tonight to discover a tragedy that befell my project room...

My work table was cracked in half and about ten different projects I had W.I.P. status including Nightbeat who was almost finished except for one last touch up on the running boards are now in various pieces some broken beyond repair... one being the custom hood I labored to make... I can use some other parts from a Alt prowl junker I recently bought off another member to try to repair and repaint to hopefully get Nightbeat back into shape, But right now I just don't know... I feel defeated at the moment.

Some of the other W.I.P. parts of other projects a scattered across the floor as well which means this weekend instead of doing a gallery of Nightbeat... I will be trying to piece everything back together.


Apperantly two uncles were over my house today while I was at work and got into an argument leading to a knock down fist fight that ended in my personal space, My project room... Im rather livid right now I wanna scream, call them both up and curse them out for destroying my stuff... I usually keep the room locked just to keep ppl out but today I was doing some more painting on my Classics/IDW Jazz body and left the door closed instead of locking it which now I can't even do that as it is hanging halfway off the frame...

I'm pissed beyond belief right now... I think im just gonna call it a day and go to bed...

Oh man . . . JD, I'm really sorry to hear that this is the update you have to report to us. I think a lot of us Radicons here have had similar disasters happen to us with our customs.

My advice:

First of all, I hope that your uncles can resolve their differences. I encourage you (despite your anger) that you may be able to help them out in whatever ways you can to see peace come about and relationships restored.

Speaking of restoration, I'd say that they'd both need to pitch in to help you with whatever damage they may have caused you and any losses you suffered as a result of their misconduct. I'd imagine that even if whatever conflict they had necessitated a fist fight (which I'm personally doubting, but I digress) didn't need to happen in your personal space. I'd encourage you to take inventory of your losses and inform them of it. If they are unable to voluntarily cooperate with that, you can take it to a small claims court.

Lastly, despite all of this, I URGE you pick up the pieces (metaphorically and literally), recollect yourself, and keep moving along with your work. The easy way out is to remain angry, let it turn into bitterness, and just throw in the towel (even if it's just on a few projects). The Radicon way is to acknowledge a set of problems that are obstacles, sort em out, lean on the support of your fellow Radicons, and roll out, man. Oh man, that truly suck big time.
I don't know what else to say .......
I have a very limited number of spare and junker parts.
Maybe myself and fellow Radicons can help and possibly give you a hand replacing parts & such.

I was really looking froward to seeing Nightbeat finished.
I hope you can save him.

I wish I had been paying attention... Testor's Metallic Blue Flake is an exact match to the existing paint job on BT Prowl... not sure about on the KO.
