JD, I often use the Testors putty, and I'd also affirm the results you get as I've gotten them too. My solution has been to use super glue as my drying agent. Putty + super glue = rock solid putty

Oddly enough I tried that my self before seeing this tonight lol, But Anyway a Massive Car mode update!



The darker discolorization along the front is what I mentioned a few post up, The rear bumper is stuck on Atm not fully mounted as some more work needs to be done with it.

There's going to be so much awesomeness cramed in Nightbeat that I think I will have outdone myself... And yes I chopped off the stock front end

New pics added uptop, Added a secondary cluster, New rims and wheels, Abonoxious Speaker System, and re-did the front end with a more styling gril/bumper. But I do lose the Tire control rod with this new one, but the change to robot fit is better.

And im going to remove all the paint (again...) once all the mods are completed and hopefully I'll finally be prould to call Nightbeat DONE!

 

Stripped down most of the paint, and glued and puddyed the Tunner parts and sanded down the excess puddy so everything looks even and flush with the original car body now to break him down and primer the main body parts and paint.

Well here's a teaser of the new paint im using Testors, Sapphire Blue Metal Flake. Looks a 100% better then the racing blue i used last time, plus it's more tunner-ish.

Nightbeat is fully disassembled and I've begin most of the sanding on the newer parts to allow the best fit and clearcoted the hood and the front end the new bumper looks flawless on the existing car body. Im very pleased about that over all.

Once the clear cote is fully dried I'll take updated pics

Another Update:
All parts are painted Trunk Hatch modded (Removed the raised Emblem area) filled in gaps where the old spoiler was removed, Finishing work on rear bumper.
Partal build up on front end to fill in gap between hood and Grill, Shapped, Sanded & Painted.
Most parts Clear coted and Drying in dust free box, Rest of parts to be Clear coted this weekend then Final stages of assembly on dry parts touch up's where needed and hopefully Nightbeat will be ready to make his apperance by the middle of next week with my first full Gallery (So I can get frontpaged)
