Hey guys, this is one of my more minor mods, but I think you guys will enjoy it! Black Convoy/Scourge/Nemesis Prime is one of my favorite characters, and (despite the hoopla of this being an exclusive ['nuff said]) I was really excited to see this bot released in my favorite line. He still remains one of my favorite toys Anyways, I thought he was a little light in the artillery department so I decided to fix that. Also, I always liked the red sword ("Sword of Fury!") from RiD, so I wanted to give my Alt Nemmy one too! I hope you enjoy my quasi-comic strip "Autobots, I am here to destroy you!" "I need more firepower!" "DIE AUTOBOTS!" "SWORD OF FURY!" "Check out my arsenal! These are the weapons of your demise!" [and the storage]: I'd like to dedicate this custom to my buddy, Cataclizm1. what did you use for the guns? They look nice. Love the detail on the one with the teal accents. Did you hink of doing that to the other gun as well? It looks like it has a few spots that would accept the teal without screwing up the design.
Heh, I knew I forgot something! For the accented gun, I used a gun from one of those $10 KO Gundams that BigLots! has each Christmas. I painted it a gloss black and teal. I modified the handle just a bit to fit Nemesis Prime's hand. The sword comes from a KO Gundam type figure that Dollar General had. They came in a few different colors and had a T-rex ornament design on the left shoulder. I painted it a metallic red I mixed as well as silver from my metallic marker and the same teal that the gun sports. The other gun comes from another Dollar General toy. It was some kind of cheap action figure that cost $1. Each figure comes with a sword, a smaller laser and a huge blaster. I just painted it a flat black after I removed the paint that came on it. After I painted it flat black, I just sorta liked how it looked so I didn't add any teal to it. Hehe, I forgot to note that this project was a side project to others while I was waiting for them to dry and such Diversions can always be fun though
Love the weapons upgrade. Liked how you painted some teal in there to match the bot. And I need to learn how to take such nice pics like that.
He does look better with bigger guns. I really like how he stores the sword too. I want to see a vehicle mode picture with his truck bed overflowing with weapons!

I've never much cared for swords on Transformers, but those rifles are awesome, especially the one with teal accents (I've been looking for weapons like that more my own Alts). Kudos! My Alt Nemesis Prime is looking at me accusingly now...
Wish it was easier to find crappy toys on £1 shops in this useless country so that i could give my upcoming alt CJ a nice oversized weapon.
Dang those are tight! I wish I had an NP now. I made one into Trailbreaker and the other into Motormaster. I'm gonna have to get another and hit up my dollar store now damn you!

Oddly enough, the teal that Testors makes is so very close to the teal used on Nemmy. It made my work a little easier In terms of photos, the better my resolution of my camera is the better the photos. I HIGHLY recommend anyone shooting photos to get a tripod. Also, I use at least 4 lights at all times. I always edit photos in Photoshop as well. Thanks for the props man I had stored the weapons ever since I finished them (actually early summer) on his back. The sword I finished right after Christmas as I brought the sword home from my parents' house (where the bulk of my collection is). I was glad that it fit nicely in the crack created by the hinge of the back glass/roof As for the vehicle mode, I always just think that the weapons phase in and out during transformation. I suppose all of these things goes to the same place Prime's trailer always did in the cartoon Hey dude, I hope you can find some things as well. I already posted a thread about him : StarFire, I have to be completely honest with ya, I feel the same way (especially with the Alts). However, I have given my Alt Grimlock some extra swords (perhaps I'll post photos of him down the road) when he came out as well. I reeeeeaaaaalllllyy debated about this sword because I didn't want it to feel cheap or silly even. I thought to myself, "well, if this turns out crummy, it won't be a total loss." It turns out that I was pretty happy with the results I'm always looking for things like this to add on to my Alts/BTs. Sometimes the most unlikely places (Dollar General anyone?
