Okay, so I finally got a chance to take a picture of the stuff I've been working on. I'm going to post the other stuff over the next few days, but here's the one that I like the most.

This was a gift to my girlfriend. She and her family LOVE cars. She fell in love with the 2005 Mustang as soon as it came on the market and decided to choose a real signature, unique look for hers:

Lime green with black stripes. Hot car, eh?

    Fellow Transformers fans:

    Alternators Limelight

Originally an artist and sculptor on the planet Cybertron, Limelight is quiet, humble and studious. Before the Cybertronian Civil War, Limelight was part of the same techno-architectural associations whose ranks boasted famous names like Hook, MixMaster, Grapple and Hoist.

When war came to Cybertron, and the largest architectural associations fragmented into Constructicons, a select portion of engineers, architects and sculptors joined the Autobot resistance force. Taking up training as a sniper, Limelight learned to put the same detail, timing and accuracy into his sniper shots that he did into his sculptures.

The cosmic rust that resulted in the Binaltech process infected Limelight during his very brief stay on Earth. Smuggled off of Cybertron under the Decepticons' noses, Limelight was recruited by his old buddies Hoist and Grapple to help with the construction of Autobot City. Limelight's largest contribution to the city was the fully-windowed observation station, which doubled as a turret and a transmitter tower for broadcasting Autobots (like Jazz and Blaster.)

    STRENGTHS

Limelight's Binaltech Alteration process left him with an overpowered Ford V8 turbo engine, capable of allowing him to accelerate from 0-60 in .5 seconds. Custom-designed tires that he sculpted himself allow Limelight's vehicle form to hold to the road very well during tight maneuvers. His archaic Cybertronian sporting pistol has been refined countless times over and is his primary sniper weapon; the V8 rifle that came stock with the Binaltech Alteration process is a backup close-range weapon.

    WEAKNESSES

Limelight pines for a time when the architects and sculptors and creators of Cybertron were part of the same group of creative robots, working to design fantastic structures and new facilities. He secretly wishes he could convert the Constructicons back to wholesome Autobots, though Limelight is soberly beginning to realize that this is a lost cause.

The color deosn't quite match the real-life car, but still...

Very cool custom there. The 'bot mode loves those colors. Great painting job too.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure she'll always be the one with the looker car in our relationship. My red Ranger is in the background in that pic.

She's babying that Mustang of hers as much as she can; she shows it off next to her Dad's '62 Impala at car shows.

Good job. Though you should've used more of an olive green than teal. Would've been a closer match.

It's actually kinda hard to see in that picture, but the Mustang is a really bright color of lime green. It's light...and maybe a shade darker than the VW Bug lime green.

I had two choices - use the Tamayia lime or use the Testors' 1950s light teal...I think this one got as close to the lime on her car as was possible with what was being sold at the local hobby shop.

Ha ha - Rush....good one. Nice work Ops, and I know the color your talking about. When my wife and I bought our Explorer, I was drooling over a car that was exactly like your GF's. The metallic property of the paint makes it hard to match, but I think Limelight looks pretty sweet. Did you say it was a gift from you? If so you should change your screen name to "Sugar Daddy"---jk
nice work, and I hope to see what you did with the heads on some of your future posts.

I'm not a big fan of bright green colors but, damn, that is a nice custom. Looks like you used a Nemesis Prime head on your custom. Nice touch.

I'm honestly a sucker for any of the Fords in the Alternators line being used in a custom/kitbash.

honestly, on my screen that car looks more of a gold/silver mix. I would never guess green in a million years.
