When I purchased the Alt reprostickers for Prowl and Hound, I decided to opt out on Jazz's set and go for something a little more customized. I'm rather happy with the results.

Yup, it's "JAZZ" this time around. So Reprolabels did help a little.

Anyone else getting a Pulp Fiction vibe from these last two? Could be just me.

So how's Jazz looking? Better? Not so much?

    That looks pretty good.

"Cybertronian, mother f$ker! Do you speak it?"

"Aw man. I just shot Wheelie in the face."

It does look alot like pinstriping, and very nice applique. I've considered doing something similar to one of the extra Jazz' I have, and for the second (I have three out of the box, one of which is strictly for display) doing a mild kitbash with a custom head and some minor changes here and there.

I think, depending on how well (and who does it) Alternators Shockwave/Shockblast would look good with some mild custom graphics such as a white or black/gold pinstripe down the side. Some vehicles look great with nothing, some look even better with just a little something. I had some custom purple and yellow flames on my POS S-10. My Tundra, on the other hand, is completely debadged and has a custom grille.

Yeah, I think that's what the stuff is. It's called 'Pactra' striping. Model-car pinstriping sold in these little canisters. It's a roll of tape with different strip widths.

Sad thing is, I had a roll of this stuff when I customized a little trailer for a Spychanger Prime custom I'd made 2 years ago...and I can't find the roll. So I had to buy another. :(

At some automotive places (and mail order catalogs) you can get pinstriping kits to paint on, or even airbrush if you're brave enough, your own graphics and pinstriping. I'm thinking about learning how to use an airbrush to do graphics and pinstriping on both model and full scale vehicles.
