    Hi everyone,

been reading a few of the threads on alternators recently, and it got me thinking...

How many of the alts have been released at retail in the UK?
I have most of the ones I've seen so far:
Smokescreen (blue full box, ages ago)
    Shockblast
    Dead End
    Swindle

The ones I hacen't bought that I've seen are Silverstreak and Optimus Prime.

Have any of the others ever been in the shops? Have I missed them? Where were they?
I think I've bought all of those in Woolies, but most of them have been recently.

    Anybody got any info?

    Cheers

    Windcharger.

Argos have an exclusive on Wheeljack. Seemingly, it was imported overstock from somewhere in Europe.

    Nice one mate,

    cheers for the quick reply!

Is the windcharger still around or from a while ago?

Why on earth haven't we been given any of the others?

You should check this list . It's Nevermore's, so it's probably 99.999999% accurate.

I don't think there's any solid answer on that.

Hasbro U.K dragging their heels, or Hasbro INC not making toys available to international branches. My guess would be it's a mix of both.

It's sad looking at Nevermore's list how many have been 'confirmed' and then not released...

It seems unlikely to me that we'll get any more, if the focus is going to be on Classics for a few months and then Movie merchandise.

I guess I could get some online, but it's much easier for me to spend £20+ as an impulse purchase!

You'd think Hasbro would try and have them ready for Xmas.
If parents only see Cybertron and Alternators that have been on shelves since October, the poor kid will end up getting some Pirates Of The Carribean instead!

They have the first six deluxes and first two voyagers solicited for before Xmas but with shelves still full of Cybertron toys, retailers can't really be blamed for being reluctant to start a new Transformers line before they've sold the previous one.

Assuming that the kid wasn't told that they'd have to wait until Xmas to get some of those toys. The irony is that as adults we can buy toys without having to answer to anyone. Kids aren't so lucky.

It is kind of sad really. I've had to resort to buying Alternators 1 - 24 mostly from the US, Canada and Hong Kong. I only ever found Silverstreak, Swindle, Windcharger and Shockblast at a "bricks and mortar" shop in the UK (that was at Argos, thank you Argos:thumb  ). We may still get legendary shelfwarmers Skids, "bubblebox" Tracks, and "bubblebox" Meister or the meh repaints Ricochet and Rollbar though. But it's too late for me, Hasbro UK have missed out on some sales there (20x £19.99)  .
