Well I finally received the final components to make my latest custom (okay it's only the second) Decepticon Jigsaw...I have an extra Grimlock in pieces waiting to paint him ....I believe I need another color

For now Special thanks to Sculpt-bot for the head and Gen. Magnus for the plate.

    More to come later.

what head? what colors? :p  I'd be happy to suggest a color if indeed another one is warranted, but that's not easy to do when I have no idea what the color-palette is that you're already going with ;)

Thanks Redline, but I know what I need. I am converting Grimlock into a Decepticon Police Car. I am using the Ironhide head from Sculpt-bot. The other color I am needing is basic black for the seats/feet and the "crotch-piece".

I've got a police Mustang planned too. :)  I've had mine planned for almost a year, but I've just not been able to get to it yet with other projects (like my Alt Seekers) coming first. This summer will be fun for customs though!

    Need an opinion.....

I was looking at the disassembled torso of Grimlock (Jigsaw)...Should I paint the "crotch" piece black or white.....I am seeing the abdomen piece and the thighs as being black. I was wondering if I should break it up a little.

I would throw the white in there for some contrast. If you have a dark figure, it helps it to pop a little with some bright spots thrown in.

I'm pretty sure it is an Ironhide head from Sculpt-bot.

    Disaster!

I was trying to put this kitbash back together again, I guess that the paint made one of the joints too thick and while I was trying to put the "shin" back onto the rear fender it got stuck and when I tried to pull it back apart agin the post snapped!!

I guess this project will have to be put on hold until I can get another Grimlock. :rip
