Be interesting to know if this will be in the current fishbowl packaging, or the older boxes in a "We just found these in the back of the warehouse" sorta thing.

Decepticharge was always neat, doofy name and all. Always seemed funny that (at least on the Hasbro Alternators side of things) D-charge got the Windcharger head, and Windcharger got the Overdrive head.

Interestingly enough, his product code number is the same one as that of the red box version. All the repackaged fishbowl Alternators had new product code numbers as compared to their original releases. So I'd assume this will be either leftover stock of the red box version, or leftover stock of the Eurpean fishbowl version (which has the same product code number as the red box US version).

But we already know that he was designed with Windcharger in mind.

Seems possible: Hasbro U.K. solicited Decepticharge, then never shipped it. In addition, a small number of bubble packaged Decepticharges showed up in the U.K at discount stores that source their Transformers from outside the U.K.

Same here, but that's only because I have all of them. I had to either get lucky, order online (mark ups), purchase from someone here, or just pay the ebay scalpers.

    I second what Greatshot says!

Anyway, I think rerelasing is a good idea. I never had bought a alternator, so this one seems like a good one to start.

it doesn't take much to mark something incorrectly in a product database.
