Well, he is my first custom attempt.

I used one of my favorite Autobots, Wheeljack, as my test :)  This is the Alternators version of the character. I didn't bother to paint the gun or sword yet.

Testors were used as the paints, flat black coats (drybrushed) onto the robotic parts, then chrome brushed acrossed the edges and raises. A black wash was used on the forearms, then another wash of grey was applied. once that dried, then I applied the chrome to give more weathering. The eyes were a mixture of metallic blue and classic white.

Comments, suggestions, and feedback are welcome! Thanks for looking :)

You did a good job painting him. He might clash a bit with all the rest of your Alts though since he's so hyper-detailed in comparison.

    Thanks!

Actually, this is my first Alt. My second one is Rodimus, which I plan to do in the same fashion. His robot parts aren't nearly as exposed, however . . . plus they're all red and yellow, as compared to the black and grey of Wheeljack. Could prove to be interesting.

Nice drybrushing! Looks good! I haven't seen a lot of alts with drybrushed robot parts.
