If your camera is focusing on the background rather than the foreground, then you need to use the Macro Mode, assuming you have one. Find out if there's a flower button on the camera.

I don't know that I like where this is taking your "Rare" Nemesis Prime... but from what I can see of the Laserbeak, I like it.
