I'm generally ok with the 3rd movie but I think two key scenes could be changed to make the movie have more impact.

I believe The Wreckers would have far more impact as the "assholes" of the Autobots if upon realizing that Shockwave was blocking the route to the Pillars that Optimus ordered "Wreckers, destroy Shockwave". Followed by a short but intense 3-on-1 smackdown.

Secondly, upon Megatron crippling Sentinel Prime I think far more options for Sequels would have been created if Megatron had simply fired on Optimus rendering him helpless. Before he is able to finish the job the remaining Autobots rally on Optimus and fire on Megatron, who is left with no option but to retreat. When they return to deal with Sentinel they see he is no longer there, leaving two threats still out there.

The Wreckers fought Shockwave in stealth mode, alongside the military.

All for five/ten minutes.

 

I dont really see the wreckers as assholes.
They didnt really do anything that bad.
I think that lady (cant remember her name) was just a bitch.
