Minor/Repaint: Alternate Universe Ironhide & Ratchet

    Hello again everyone. With the successful unveiling of my Alternate Universe Optimus Prime, I worked hard to finish this next batch. The main reason being that I feel they should go together as a set. When I first had this idea it started with Ironhide and once I was mostly done Rodimusblack mentioned to me that Ironhide and Ratchet shared the same mold, so I created Ratchet to make a set. Plus I liked the duality between the two. Whereas Ironhide is a warrior and Ratchet is a healer. I enjoy the Classics/Generaions design and coloring which is evident in this set, plus I feel these both work as a War for Cybertron variant. So I hope you all enjoy my latest finished creations, Alternate Universe Ironhide and Ratchet! Alt modes to be posted later...

    those are really nice, but i don't remember snowcat's front being that big

    I believe I finally have a use for my Energon Snow Cat mold now. :D  this is so awesome! :thumb

    not only did you do a great job on these(all3) but the pictures are great too!...well lit plenty of diffrent angles...

    Thanks Alloy_Alchemist! It's funny you mention the pictures themselves. I would have posted Prime the week before last, but the camera I had was an old 4 megapixel with poor macro settings, so I gave up on it and now am using a relatively inexpensive kodak easyshare with a home made light box, and now finally have decent pictures! I just couldn't post them the way they first came out on that old camera.

    Loving these so much. It even took me a while to realize they were Energon Snowcats, remolded into Ironhide and Ratchet. Very nicely done.

    SOOOO cool! I am really digging SnowCat's mold for these two...tutorial PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! (Or at least just show how you made the canopy open, lol)

    Hype1 - Your the second person to mention a Tutorial, so I am planning on creating one that covers pretty much how to mod your snowcat! Keep posted I will try and get it up as soon as I get some time and take some pictures!

    There's no reason both modes shouldn't be in the same thread, so the project thread has been merged.
