There's a URL and login in the trailer, during the 'THIS SOUND' bit:

    http://www.tfw2005.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/11706/cat/1431

    URL: sectorseven.org
    Login: takara83

Not much there yet. Though apparently Takara has secured the rights to make a movie based on some real life events.

This could be the start of an ARG. For those who don't know ARG = Alternate Reality Game. Typically a series of web sites or events that treat the movie, or something related to the movie as if it were real. I imagine the content found at sectorseven.org will change over time.

EDIT: Link to the trailer screen cap fixed. Sorry, I just copied the text from another post I made in the movie thread, and didn't notice it had shortened the link.

    Cool
I fiddled around and found a video of some guy, Alexander Powers, talking about a blip and how him and his team are the only hope for humanity. Interesting!

Hmm kinda like they did with Perfect Dark then.

PS: Is it me, or is that little movie is a blatant ripofff from a Command & Conquer instruction? All it misses is the short cut afterwards beginning your mission. >_>

I think that actor also played one of the trooper reinforcements from Earth at the end of Stargate: Atlantis' first season. He was the lietenant of the colonel, if I recall correctly.

So uh, how do I see the complete message from Alexander Powers? Mine gets scrambled when he gives his ID.

"LOST" has quite a few of these sites.
    oceanic-air.com
    apollocandy.com
There is also one for the Hanso Foundation but the name escapes me

Just click on everything in the pop-up. You'll find it.

Actually, I haven't been able to find the weapons either... I'm pretty sure I've clicked everything unless my screen's cutting something off...

Some of the items in the main window such as the objects in the top-left (two of which look oddly like cable modems!) can be dragged + dropped too. I wonder if that triggers anything?!

Interesting, count the number of insects, and compare it to the number of Decepticons that're supposed to be in the film...same number. I wonder if its just odd coincedence, or if there's a correlation between the two.

Apparently if you have a "low" resolution like 1024x768 that'll prevent you from accessing the rightmost folders, since the S7 desktop seemingly can't be scrolled. Boo to the site designers!

I couldn't find jack shit on there. Just the video clip, the Takara note, and the S7 logo.
