    I have a Classics/Universe Megatron (Voyager size)?
that I am repainting to G1 colors, it's coming along nicely.

My son has the Classics Prime and one thing I've never
liked about this is the arm shields (whatever you call them)
that form the sides of his cab. I don't particularly want
to kitbash my son's toy and I really don't feel like getting
my own just to bash, wonder if there's alternative
Prime's in this same size to use as a counter to my
Megatron? I am willing to bash a new Prime, just want to
    do something new.

    Ebay:
Galaxy Force / Cybertron Optimus is comparable when not powered up...he's my favorite prime to date.

G2 lazer prime is about the same size, though its not very G1 looking, I used mine for ultramagnus, but he is the only other voyager i can think of that doesn't combine with his trailer

    Thanks guys.

Cybertron prime is still too big, even in just-cab mode.
If you stilt his legs to semi-super mode, he makes a pretty good
counter to my energon Galvatron though.

I think I found a good match by using a crapped up cab
from an original G1 Powermaster Prime I got. It was in
pretty rough shape already, now I'm going to fix it up
and give it as much of a "classics" treatment as I can,
with more articulation and a new paint job and so on.
