Hmm.... those could pass as Gobot names! :)

As for the Real Gear guys, their given names are so generic and bland that I have a feeling I won't be able to remember them. I'll either have to rename them mentally or forever be doomed to think of them as "the camera guy," "the cell phone guy," etc.

What about spreading out the names of the robots that comprised Reflector? After all, Reflector was what they were called as a group, but they had individual names. The camera could stay Reflector, the videocamera guy could be "Viewfinder" (since videocameras do have viewfinders too, after all, and with his Borg eyepiece and purple skullcap he does sort of resemble the central team member of Reflector), the binocular guy could be "Spyglass" (for obvious reasons), and as for "Spectro".... well, I could see that working for the PSP guy, though it's a stretch. I suppose you wouldn't have to use all of them.

As for the phone guy, well, he does have a camera on him too, so he could be a third Reflector member.... but it seems more fitting to give him a more phone-oriented name. The name he comes with (Speed Dial, I think?) isn't bad. Other possibilities (just off the top of my head): Dialtone, Ringtone, Static, Crank Call.... I dunno.

Too bad he's not another bird, you could call him Squawktalk. :)

EDIT: Cheatcode is a GREAT name for the PSP.

The MP3 Thingy will be Laserbeak in my world.

The binoculars will be called Peeper. Or Tom. Peeping Tom is just too long to use as a name.

The rest, don't know yet. I'll have to wait until something hits me.

Well, aside from the obvious (Reflector, Laserbeak), here are my thoughts:

PSP: My vote goes to Cheatcode. It just seems to fit him better than "Power Up VT6"

Cellphone: Um, cells don't have dial tones, so it would be a bit of a misnomer. Then again, who says TF names have to match the alt mode? I'd say either Dead Zone or Linkup would be my choice.

Digital Camera: Megapix. Eh, why not? :D

Binoculars: Longview is good enough for Green Day, so it's good enough for me.
