A question that I pose to all of you who own the Honda s2000 ALT... What do you do with the black piece when you put the roof on the car??? I'm talking about the u-shaped black piece that would go near the trunk when the top is down...

I normally just throw the piece into the inside of the car when I have the top up, but I was hoping to find a better storage solution... Haven't come up with any though... I looked in the hidden functions thread and found no solution there as well...:(

    Any ideas???

I haven't found a place to hide them on the toy anywhere so I store them with my other TF parts in a tool box

Yeah, that bothers me, too. I just throw it inside the car...unless you somehow modify the alt, I don't know where else it could go. I really wish it could fold in half and go in the trunk...but there is really no room for it there, either. :banghead:

Yeah... In bot mode, I just stick that piece in the chest where it's supposed to go in car mode so I don't have any extra stuff lying around since I've got the roof part on their arms as shields... It's only in car mode that I don't have a place to put that top down piece... Grrr...

I just noticed something else... Mirage is the only ALT that has the front of his face clearly visible in car mode in the undercarriage of the car... With all the other ALTs, you can turn their heads around so at least their faces aren't visible... But with Mirage, that's not possible...

The other ALTs do a decent job of hiding their faces...

The WRX guys have their heads tucked under their hoods so at least you have to open the hood to see their faces...

The Viper guys you really can't see their heads at all in car mode...

The Jeep guys, like the WRX guys have their heads hidden under the hood...

The Corvette guys, you can turn their heads around so at least you don't see their faces from the undercarriage in car mode...

The RX8 guys have their heads under the engine cover beneath the hood so you can't see their heads...

The Mustang guys have their heads hidden underneath the hood as well...

The s2000 guys do a pretty good job hiding their heads in the trunk of the car...

The RSX guys can have their heads turned so that you can't see their faces from the undercarriage of the car...

The xB one has its head completely hidden...

The Ram guys you can turn their heads around completely so that they're not showing their faces...

But Mirage... Nothing you can do about him not showing his face in car mode...:(

You could get a lil' paper bag to put on his head in car-mode. And if anyone asks why it's there, say it's some litter that got stuck under the car while it was speeding down the highway.

I just chuck it to the back of the display shelf. Which is, ironically, pretty much what I do with Windcharger himself.

Actually Razerwire, you can hide his face - it's just got very little clearance when you do it. You have to first make his head face either left or right (in bot mode), then tilt it to look straight up. Now you should be able to turn his head all the way around and back down again. The front window bends a little, but not enough to casue any damage and if you do it this way, it won't scratch against any paint either.

I just leave that part in the box since I always have the top on.

I just leave it attached to them in robot mode because they're always in robot mode anyways.

I always leave mine in vehicle mode, mostly because the robot mode blows bigtime.
but when I have the roof on, the black plastic bit goes in my bag of Energon weapons.

Well, you keep the boxes right? Just stick it in the box.

As for Mirage, Cataclizm1's idea is awesome!

I leave Windchargers top-down piece attached at all times, so it never moves. His top-up piece is in his box ( I think ). Decepticharge uses his top-up piece and it becomes his shield. The top-down piece is in his box ( I think ). Just another way to differentiate the two molds.

I display all mine in 'bot mode, so I put them under the chest....but if I were to switch to vehicle mode displaying I'd just put it in the car itself and call it good.

I have all my Alt parts, S2000 peices, repro Binaltech missles, and other goodies, in NP's truck bed...works great, looks cool.

Also, I hide mirages head by leaving him rightside up. Are we seriously bitching about the cars under carriage?
