April Fools is FOR FUN LIKE THIS... Who cares if you miss out on your precious transformers news for one damn day. It gets sorted out the day after and those who enjoy it, have fun.

If you look again.. the hoax was not posted on april 1st.. it was posted on march 31st. Which led me to believe it wasnt fake and not a april fools thing.. which is why i went to 5 targets searching for it

Nope. I've kept the modified Tracks to myself since 2/9/2006, the date I finished modifying Tracks.

 

I was going to mention that but the thread was locked before I got to it. Hell, for a while there, I thought you were using my pics from a while back as I hadn't seen anybody else go through the trouble of applying the hubcap logos.

Lame joke, but funny hearing people get all pissy about it, and running out looking for it THAT DAY, like it magically appeared overnight.

So I guess it was a good joke after all.

Then someone did something veeeery similar! Because I recall those same type of decals now that waterslide was mentioned.

 

That's what I'm saying, you just proved my point. It's because of constant stupid pranks like this that make it so.

Enough were where some kind of action should be taken against future "jokes" like this. There ARE good April Fools' jokes, like last years' The Fuzzy World and the stuff that Homestarrunner.com does ever year. But most are just stupid and done to death, and practically everyone knows it's a farce in the first place, so what's the point anymore?

 

Meh. It was simply too obvious that your news (and the Police Downshift) was fake, but I do commend you for the effort on making it appear authentic. The "on-shelf" pics in particular were amusing, but it was strange not seeing the shelf itself... More work than some amateur putting up Photoshopped recolors of loose figures.

 

I thought it was funny... I want that Downshift repaint though.

 

Wow, some people really need to lighten up. It was a freaking joke. Oh well, I thought it was funny.

I figured it was fake, but I wasn't fully convinced it was. We all know Hasbro too well, and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if they did this, what with Tracks coming in another assortment after the inital Prime one, what with the decals being almost exactly like the Reprolabels set. Would've been bloody brilliant too. I know I would've bought Tracks again just for that.

 

The last April Fools joke I fell for was the Beast Machines deployers (Someone had pics of Wheelie, Cosmos & Seaspray in neon colors). Anyone still have that pic BTW?

That's been done about 20 times every April Fools' Day ever since they came out with Photoshop. THAT'S what I have a problem with.

So.... you admit I have a valid point, but then insult me for stating said valid point. Mmmkaay....  

 

 

no. i may not find the "joke" funny but what i do find funny is allthe people freakin out about how annoying it is and how much they hate it
