The Binaltech figures pictures are simply fill-ins for the time being, however, this'll get the idea out there.

Once I've completed the Mustang project, I plan on returning to the Subaru mold and finishing Searchlight accordingly. I hope by then reprolabels will have the new Silverstreak set out. After that, I'll replace the Binaltech figures with Alts at my current rate, I'll be done by Fall 2010.

Throttlebots need a severe make over man. Nice work.

    Yeah they do.

I'll be more satisfied with my efforts once I've replaced the Chase and Freeway with painted alts. Searchlight needs to be finished, of course, and they'll all get Reprolabels to break up the plain paint. I want to finish out the group with a repainted Rollbar and Wideload but that'll be some way down the road yet.

I LOVE this! I've been wanting to make a few of these myself (just never 100% committed to the idea when I was doing character searches). Great work man and I can't wait to see them finished! :thumb

Very nice I wonder if there's ever been a Dodge Ram tipper for Wideload and maybe the Rumble mould with arms would work for Goldbug

I've found the Binaltech Mazdas to be a bit of a pain, mostly because the feet have a hard time supporting the weight of the figure. Which is part of the reason why I'm so set on replacing the Binaltech figure with an Alt. When I do get around to making the Alt version, I'll be coating the black panels in blue to give chase more of a G1 look.

I do have a Dodge that I was planning on turning into Ultra Magnus, but I think I might go with Wideload instead. As for Goldbug... I think I'll hold off or possibly get another Classics figure.

Ran low on yellow so I've dropped my Scion Project for now and have started on Freeway:

It's hard to get a good read on the blue given the flash, but the angle on the doors does it justice. Now quite the bright, almost sky blue of the past, but why do I have to play by G1 rules anyway?

Better pictures will come as I finish individual bots. Till now enjoy the blurry ones... I command it.

    Looking good man!....

I never thought of using sticks so you can examine the piece while the paint is still wet/tacky....genious!

And Skids tf'd like that reminds me of those Hot Wheels tf's that hit the shelves not long ago....:lol

I bought a massive box of popsicle sticks along time ago, maybe a couple thousand... to this day, I've used the same seven over and over.

Bumblebee15, you're now my official go to guy when I need an Ego Boost.

That's right, I'm bringing it up again. I knew I was on to something when I switched out Rollbar and Ricochet's heads. With a little bit of styrene and a little work to go, I think it'll pass:

Course, now I have five customs in various states of completion.
