Hey

Finally finished my Alt Stunticons. They are all slightly modified a little from the original figures (Motormaster has a modified Prowl head, the other four have Valkfan heads, they all sport reprolabels of some sore too, sometimes just minor sponsor decals)

I have no intent or ability to make them into Menasor though. These guys were the only combiner set I had as a kid and they held a special spot in the collection

These look wonderful. Shame they don't combine. But I understand if that's something you don't want to do.

 

I love your breakdown head, and your dead-end head is pretty sweet too.

 

I really like all your stunticons. My only complaint is that Motormaster, other than his head, looks just like Nemesis Prime or Scourge. I really think he'd do better to have a lot of greys added in. The large shoulder pieces, the arms, shins, and waist all could be painted grey without impacting the truck mode at all if you wanted to leave that black. If you didn't have him pictured with the other 4 Stunticons, or hadn't told me, I'd not guess MM as the character of the Dodge Ram.

 

Not a matter of want. Can't is more like it. Just don't have the capacity to have a crack at it

Breakdown is my favorite & steals the show (IMO)

 

I'm not crazy for some of the labels (for different reasons, if you'd like me to explain), but I LOVE all of your work on each head. Stellar!  

(The Stunticons were my favorite merge group as a kid too  )

 

To be fair, only Motormaster's head was made by me (from alt Prowl), the rest were made by a guy on another board.
As far as the labels go, I didn't really think the stunticons would pick designs to blend with street cars, but more a tuner look

Another artist may have molded the heads, but this is still your brainchild. Essentially, my gripes with the labels are make/model specific. A Ford GT40, for example, would hardly ever be seen with some of the flames and such simply because that specific car has its own heritage. The main reason I refrained from commenting as such is that it's something I've mentioned before. I thought the same, old comments weren't healthy for your thread, as they're more personal biases than anything else  

 

Valkfan comes here? I hadn't seen him.

Thats cool, and something that make your customs that extra bit more real I feel. I was inspired by a similar custom that used the traditional blue stripes down the GT, but I just wanted something a little random and different

Thanks for the props, man. That being said, that's mainly why I was choosing refrain. While it may not be what I do to my customs, that doesn't make it uncool foreveryone. That's the cool thing about creativity, two people can take the very same mold and do two completely different things with it, each taking their own spin. If anything, my desire for [mostly] realistic vehicles simply reveals things about my preferences and personality. I often choose to share those things because that's me sharing my life with you guys. I do want to do those things in respectful manners, because my preferences on things like this do not supersede any other Radicons' tastes. To quote my wife, "Variety is the spice of life."

I AM STILL HERE! Thanks SQ7 for putting a name to the "guy on another board." I haven't gone away and my custom heads are still available but I have spread myself a little thin these days so I don't frequent the boards as much as before but I ALWAYS log on whenever I get a PM.

I have been planning on doing this for a while now but I just haven't found the time yet. I haven't finished any new custom heads after the first 10 but I did start on my Brawn and Cliffjumper heads. Those have been placed on hold for a while now because of my schedule.

 

How can we aquire your custom heads? What is price w/ shipping. Also do you have any recent pics, I seem to can't find the older pics that I had seen sometime ago.
