so i saw a pick of an alt shockblast with an LED in his gun arm so it'd light up and i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as i want to do this, though for a custom i'm working on, but seeing as i'll be using a shockblast gun arm i figure it'll be the same. i don't know if there's a thread explaining the process, though i couldn't find one. any help would be much appreciated! thanks!

Check this one out, fschuler did an awesome job using a concept I'd been working out myself. He beat me to it and showed that it can work. I still haven't done this with my Alt. Shockwave (I can't stand to call him Shockblast), but I still want to at some point.

I love seeing a trend develope fschuler took my mod, and made it a LOT better. of course, I was gunning for the G1 look, so I WANTED a wiretube going from his arm to his back, but still. he got the whole bit to fit inside the super tiny space that is the forearm, fully self-contained. Mine had the batteries and button inside the roof.

nope. if you look at the carmode pictures, you can see one of 'em shows the tube. there's a gap under the dashboard that it slips right into.

RIGHT OOOONNNNN! i didn't want the tube cuz this guy isn't gonna be shockwave and was hoping for an "in forearm" possibility! it doesn't look very expensive either. thanks everybody!
