The mistransformation looks silly, properly done could be good. Question is though, why the heck didn;t they do this in the first place rather than the tracks repaint?

    Time to consider bidding...

While the figure certainly looks nice, I fail to see the point of even making this figure. I mean unless there is something for the whole Binaltech story, which I can't see how their could be since the line is cancelled, then I fail to see a need for two of the same character in the line.

On that same note.. it would make a great steel jaw too.

That looks 10 times better than I imagined it could. The car kibble is not nearly as bad as I thought it would be, really the roof is the worst part, and that may possibly be mistransformed in these pics. Otherwise they did a remarkable job of making a car turn into a convincing likeness of a cat. Well done.

Because they originally didn't have the license from Jaguar?

Agreed. At first I thought what a waste, but after you see how mistransformed it is, its gonna look pretty good when its done.

The simple answer is cost. Removing the roof and a new head are much cheaper than a whole new mold and license ... or was that a rhetorical question?

I know he had a bot mode, but the only G1 character that beast mode reminds me of (apart from Ravage, obviously) is Pounce. That is my far out choice for a repaint.

THe back kibble can be rearranged in a more pleasing way, so I'll reserve judgment on that front. My only real concern is w/the placement of the doors. I'm not liking them as is, but I can't believe they'd leave them sticking up like that.

If the BT story continued it's either Ravage was rebuilt along with Rumble or the Concurrence specifically Dr. Arkeville sharing with Ravage the secret of Binaltech GT.
Same spark shared by BeastWars and G1 Ravage. (The Nemesis Prime story had Arkeville messing with the Autobots spark recovery system.)

Now that is Ravage. I couldn't be happier that I didn't buy Battle Ravage. Ravage will always be a cat in "robot" form to me.

Looks good. i'll be getting him regardless of the mistransformation, he looks far better then i thought. I'm loving this guy, its defiently a nice turn for the line and now with him and Rumble maybe there is some hope in getting a Soundwave.

Alright, I am infinitely more in favor of this one than the horrible original Alt. Ravage. Transformers plus were-pumas just never worked for me.

I like it, definitely enough to buy it. Now my Battle Ravage on the other hand... not much of a reason to keep him around any more. Good thing that one was never sold around here, might be able to fetch a decent price then.

Wow, this is cool. I'm betting the fully painted and correctly transformed version will be a lot better.

I think perhaps the doors fold down to cover the wheels and yup, that hood is mistransformed. I'm sure of it. I think it kinda goes back and down and should lie flush under the roof that covers his back. The curve of his 'spine' fits with the curve of the grille and the hood. I also think the clear rear panel on the back legs folds up to fill in his midsection. Looking at the pics we saw a few days ago, there appears to be a swivel joint at that spot.

It looks like slag when its mis-transformed though I now official pics will sell it for me.
Steeljaw repaint? Screw that I'd take a blue cobalt sentry jaguar.
