If you're referring to just rotating the legs, there isn't much need for a pic. Just...rotate the legs at Prowl's hips. If I have no clue what you're talking about, then by all means...keep searching...
To do it right, you have to remove the two screws from inside each leg, remove the panels, switch the legs around by pulling them off at the knee joint, and reassemble. I think if you just flip them and swivel the waist or whatever you'll have screws showing in bot mode. It's pretty simple to do it by disassembly, only four screws and easy to do. Sorry no pics, but you don't really need them anyway.
Here you go Tech Spec. Full pics to show exactly how it's done. It's fairly simple by what I can see. Basically just like Mega explained above. http://www.tfmaster.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2896
Dude, you haven't spelled Prowl's name correctly anywhere in this thread. Be ashamed, be very ashamed!
heheehe too funny, I just noticed, sorry bout that, I was soooo hyped when I got him in the mail on Sunday
Hey TechSpec, would you be able to snap a pic of Alt. Prowl with his legs switched? I cant say as I've seen the Alt. version with the switched legs and I'm wondering how he looks with the baby blue. I'm still swaying back and forth between Alt. Prowl and BT Prowl (with repro-labels) because of the baby blue. Thanks man.
Hey thanks Redline. That blue really doesnt look bad in that pic and I really like the reversed legs on Prowl. A big improvement, imo.
I didn't do the leg swap on my Prowl. For about 30 seconds after opening him, anyway. I'm much happier with the leg swap. Prowl has become my favorite Alternator because of it. Don't know why, but he is.
I plan on getting an extra Prowl and kitbashing him into a local police cruiser, modeled after local police.
well, besides the fact that the swap adds a HUGE amount of movement range to the knees, it also makes it look like G1 Prowl, which means, IMHO, he NEEDS to have the legs swapped. Soon, the boards will have a gallery of G1 Prowl, with comparison shots of him next to Alt. Prowl Andy
Man do I have a screwed up one. The top of the leg on the right side is a left piece backward so that no matter what I do I have a screw showing, Way to go QC! [Edit] A little filing on the joint piece and the screws are hidden now but if you look cloesly you can see that they are facing the same way.
