I was looking around at a bunch of Alts, and I was confused at how much I liked Nemesis Prime in comparison to regular Prime. I figured it was because NP made for an awesome update to RiD Scourge, which eventually led me to want to repaint Alt Prime into a Laser Prime scheme. More on that at a later time. XP Aaaanywho, before I risk the truck with lots of paint, I figured I'd work on building this guy's arsenal. =3 First up is a G1-esque Blaster (I dun care of Laser Prime had a different gun! >.<). Pretty much took the blue blaster from an 8-inch KO Robot Masters G1 Convoy and filled in some gaps* and took part of a screw to create a peg for his hand. Covered the thing in gloss black afterward. Sadly/Luckily, gloss paints point out every imperfection, so I've got a good deal more sanding and another coat of paint to go. *nod* I'll try and have a sword ready next week. Sticking it in boiling water didn't soften it up enough for me to bend it back, so I popped it in the microwave for a bit. At first, it worked well, but the plastic cooled quickly. After popping it in the second time, I left it in for a bit too long, and some of the plastic bubbled. Luckily it was mostly limited to inside a gap that the Masterpiece blaster didn't have, so I just filled those in. >.>
Just be careful positioning that pin. @.@ I made two holes and both were a bit off. So I then cut out the are between them, glued the pin in place, and filled in the rest of the area with FIXIT-Sculpt. And it still needs to be sanded! >.< I'm pretty sure it was the most aggravating part of the mod. XP
