For the life of me, I can't get the hood of the truck mode to go back into place. It was fine when I took it out of the packaging, but now it won't line up.

    At all.

The front end seems too low. The hood won't line up with the shoulders. The doors also won't close right. Is there some little thing that I'm missing that'll make this go together better?

I put this in general... because I have no idea where else (toyark seems to be for displays and reviews).

    Thanks
    Chris

I think he's defective. I'll take him off your hands. :)

Oh yeah, there's no way in hell I'm buying this. I can't even handle my Wheeljack.

Are you changing him from robot to truck or truck to robot?

I'd check to see if the seat/matrix area was aligned properly or if the lower section of his chest (grill, undercarriage area) were in all the right places.

Myself, I never transform 20th Prime without the instructions present... the damned thing's just too complicated...

LOL! Silly rabbit. Trix are for kids. :D

Getting him from truck to robot was no problem. Getting him back... at first my problem was the seats. Fixed them. The undercarriage section though, seems to be in the right spot, but it's as either the shoulders won't line up with the hood, or the windshield won't line up with the hood. Either way, the hood pegs will not line up with the shoulder holes and there's this gap between the windshield piece and the hood (or because of it).

    Thanks
    Chris

I was part of the first BBTS shipments. I paid more for him, but now I don't have to look for another Alternator until Mirage. Actually, I preordered him too. I'm at a point in my life where I'll pay a little extra just so I don't have to go searching all over creation for it...

Same way I got mine. Hmm... based on those pics... I would say you're missing a step somewhere under the hood or something... can't really tell from the pics though. I had a problem with alt Prowl and Tracks the last time I tried to TF them... I couldn't get the hands and arms to line up correctly in the undercarrage and it kept the hood and all from aligning properly. Check the placement of his head too... that could also throw the whole things alignment off if the head isn't fitted into the exact right space provided. Alts are rediculously complex...
