hi! I just got my Alt Optimus Prime. I got it loose from eBay. A good figure however I found out that there's an alignment problem with the hood when transformed into truck mode. I don't know if this problem is only with my figure that's why I'm posting this. Does anyone one who owns an Alt Optimus Prime has the same problem as mine? Any fix or workaround on this? Or I just mis-transformed it?

I've never TF'd my Optimus or Nemesis Prime alt, but I know on the shockwave/meister one I had similar problems... that I was able to fix.

There are probably 2 small holes inside the engine that the hood hinge clip into. It takes some wiggling, but they will eventually snap into place. It might feel like you are going to break it, but you probably wont. It might also help to open him up (transform the part with the frontend/hood) and check out the connection there.

    Hope this helps.

You need to push the arms in firmly, when you transform him there's a point where it feels like that is as far as it goes, but if you look, the section with the pin is slightly raised still. Push it in here and the arm should pop into place.

It gets easier after a couple of goes.

(This would work better in the Toyark, so I'll move it there for you)

    Ebay:
If you can see where I have highlighted, trim the area attached to under-side of the hood on the blue outer hinge area, where it is rounded. and this will fix the hoods fit to the fender.

I had that problem as well. This is how mine sits after the mod.

Because people keep asking about this hood problem, maybe? I've answered such threads on two or three separate occasions.
