I showed this thing off a few weeks ago but I finally finished the head and took pics. This was another loose Alt I got from Hikuro at a great price. He didn't come with his gun/engine but it didn't matter after I decided to make a Megatron out of him. I cut off the scope and the piece that held it on from a Classics Megs and modded it to be sure I could remove the arm cannon and the figure would still transform I'm sure a few people will be disturbed by me using a Decepticharge head for him but whatever I paid retail for mine anyhow. Thing is I've always loved this head mold but after I made my Dragstrip with a more toon accurate head the original head had no body. I had to use the head for something good and I couldn't think of any other TF worthy of painting it for than Megatron. I hope you all enjoy it You'll also notice I added the Decepticon logos and license plates halfway through the photo shoot, whoops. I'm in the camp of the more faction symbols the better and I'm pretty sure Megatron wouldn't care too much about being in diguise [ATT]1915[/ATT] [ATT]1922[/ATT]
OMG. i love that detailing you did on alt mode. i gotta do the same on mine. dude you're truly an inspiration when it comes these. the head works so well.

you do know that that head and body was supposed to be for a alternator/binaltech megatron right? only difference would have been that he was supposed to be a convertible
Thanks! That means a lot man. Thanks also to the rest of those that liked my custom. It's one of my favorite so far. I kind of never thought of making a Megs custom cuz I have MP Megs on display with my Alts, but what the heck I'm pretty sure the head was originally made for Windcharger who was gonna be the second Mustang after Grimlock and Megatron was gonna be a Cadillac XLR. I remember seeing some book on what the original BT designs were supposed to be (I can't find a link to that book right now though) but the info can be found in this WIKI article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaltech
yes, megatron was going to be the next in line with a caddilac, but the decepticharge head and convertible mustang were for megatron, just like jazz was going to have another body and such, i have the binaltech book in my hand EDIT: http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/viewtopic.php?t=20940 -> just above the MP prime (i cant read japanese so i'm not 100% on this, but it's the only source i have for the book i got of amazon)
Really like how powerful he looks with that arm cannon leveling down on ye. Excellent work Add some tint to the windows and he'll really look ominous.
Pretty cool, not the first Alt Megs from the Mustang I seen. Well if I had the skill to do a reshell of ether the S2000 mold or the Viper mold into the Cadillac XLR to make Megatron and get one of the custom Alt G-2 Hero Megs heads I would so do the project...
