oh yeah, the reshell is also very good. The wow-factor of the bot mode kinda overshadows it. it really is a great Megatron, and a better GT-R than hasbro would have ever given us.

one more thing! It is pretty easy to lower the RSX mold by hacking off the wheels and plastic-welding them up a bit higher. It looks like you have a good bit of room to do that on yours.

not trying to pimp out my Wildrider in your thread, but I thought you might enjoy seeing how low you can go with the RSX.

with your reshelling skills, this shouldn't be a problem. Of course.... with your reshelling skills, you've probably already tried this and found it to not be possible....

anyways, best custom Alt I've seen in MONTHS. a dozen 1/24 scale thumbs up!

Why, just cos the G1 toy was that way? Cartoon Megs had some pretty beefy legs...besides I find robots look better with bigger legs anyway :)

As for the cannon, I'd originally intended for it go sowhere in the back. But for it to fit anyway in the rear, I'd had to remove a good chunk of the inner leg panel, resulting it less support for the rear window/trunk area during transformation. I specifically added MORE support there so I wouldn't break it and that meant leaving no room for the cannon. I figured the stabilty was worth more.

Very nice Wildrider! And actually, I like the higher stance. I thought about fixing it early on(there is a bit of room to move, but not as much as Prowl, given these wheels are wider and bigger), but in the end I think I prefer it to the Skyline's official low-riding.

Thats great work but i wouldnt have used that mold for megatron. It makes him look too stocky and his legs look too skinny.

To each his own then! After I decided on the car, to me, the Prowl mold seemd a perfect fit IMO. I assume you're talking about the upper legs looking too skinny? Cos the lower legs are most assuredly not.

I do think he's slightly off in proportions tho, just like about 75% of the Transformers I own. The chest is slightly oversized, and I think the thighs are too short, but I knew what I was getting into from the beginning, and still couldn't be happier.

I also like my megatrons to be beefy. I mean, the movie and classics versions all have tough, herculean proportion befitting an evil warlord so I must say I love the way your megs turned out. :)

My only qualms is that the fusion cannon is *not* big enough! I felt it could be even bigger, but yes, I'm sure you had your limitations.

This custom oozes attitude, I love it! Great job!
