Minor/Repaint: Alt insecticons

    Hey

    These are my alt Insecticons: Kickback, Shrapnel, Bombshell, and their leader Venom. Pretty happy with the 3 black ones, but not sure bout Venom. Something seems missing, and I really dont want to put bright orange on him, so the bronze was in its place

    Ideas? Comments?

    i like these a lot, what about strips on the car mode something like schrapnels?

    As far as Venom....I dunno....I kinda like the all green car mode :thumb

    Nice !!! Kickback is my fav.
    What did you use for the "ears" ???
    As for Venom, what about some stripes or decals down the sides ???

    Kickback is super sweet. You did a good job on these. Shrapnel seems like he could use some touching up around the head area. The car modes are all wicked though. Venom is pretty cool the way he is i'd say, but I'd touch up the paint on his forearms.

    With Kick back you could maybe paint the insides of the doors silver and have them pointing up to replicate the wings?? turned out pretty well when i made my Viper Kickback

    These guys look fantastic, and it's nice to see Venom getting loved! Personally, I agree with PK, I think the plain green looks great, and the bronze 'bot parts were a good choice. Any chance we'll be seeing Chop Shop, Barrage and Ransack later?

    And are those Alt Turbomasters I see in the background? :D

    Umm, the green is a metallic Tamiya. Not sure the exact name, the can is in the shed at the moment. Will have to get back to you on that one. I need to fix up those forearms so the can will have to come out anyway.
    The silver inside the doors is an awesome idea, might have to pinch that one
    No plans at the moment for Barrage, Chop Shop and Ransack, but who is to say that wont change. Depends if anyone jumps out at me (I guess if anything will jump out, its likely to be an insecticon). Venom was born of me wanting to do one in Green, and wanted a convertable RX-8.
    And yes, they are the Turbomasters. When Boss is done, they will be fully revealled
