    Hi everyone,

I know it's been a little while since I've posted any new works here or anywhere for that matter, but I am back at the kitbashing table with a whole slew of new stuff coming down the pike......I had to take a little breather from doing commissions of customs because I got a little burned out. Plowking just got his two figures of Bumblebee and CLiffjumper shipped out today and I am currently working on a custom ALT Ratbat for icanfly......

In the middle of all of this, I am finally doing some stuff for me! =)

With a little help from Decoy13 and a HUGE amount of help from Delta of Reprolabels, I've designed my own custom decals........The first figure to come, which is almost done, is ALT Inferno. Heavy modding to this figure has been done, to the point other than what is seen, the hood becomes a shield, and the grill and the front split bumper are now all attached and will eventually become the chest for Inferno. ALT Grapple will be next and will share the same style of modified form as ALT Inferno. The decals I designed for this are now on it.

Let me know your thoughts on this......I've been waiting to do this one for a VERY long time, just ask Superquad7 and Plowking! =)

    Enjoy,

    -Gregg

I am actually working on a type of backpack tank that will strap over the shoulder area and have a hose that comes out w/ nozzle, so yes!

That's fantastic, it gives a G1 character a updated modern look and quite frankly a good one.

I would have him made but I have a Trailbreaker & Hoist using the Prime mold as it is. Maybe the leg mold and the mold you did would make them different enough to justify it for me. I even have a idea for a step-way on the side that would help make them more different.

Well between Grapple & Inferno and Hoist & Trailbreaker......the leg mod is the same, but the chest and arm mod, Hoist and TB retain the hood for the chest as well as have the tops of the arms left alone.......Not to mention a lot of details are different.

awesome job so far, Gregg.. love the moding you've done as well as the stickers. I hope you take some good shots of where the new chest connects to the body once you have that applied so we can exactly how you pulled it off.

    ** UPDATE **

    Hello again,

I wanted to show an update on the piece I just finished for the chest. The connecting piece that goes on the pins is literally the BACK of Cybertron Dirt Boss's robot mode. I cut it on top of the hinge to get the desired cut w/ my dremmel to remove it from the pins on the figure. I then cut it down and reshaped it to what you see. Once that was done, I cut a wide enough notch in the middle to match the width of the combined slot on the inside of the upper portion of the new chest piece. I masked off whee I was going to be gluing, and then painted it satin black to match the upper body. Once dried, I pulled off the tape off and mounted it just as you see, to get the final desired result.

    Enjoy the updated pictures!

    -Gregg
