Well, I started this project about 2 months ago, but then I figured out I didnt have a head for it, so it sat for a while. Then I went to TFU and found this guy http://tfu.info/1987/Autobot/Freeway/freeway.htm. So I found a Gundam (?) head at a flea market, painted it up and bam!

I need to make a few repairs to the legs and then I'll follow up with more bot mode pics.
    Enjoy

Yeah, I didnt notice that until I took the pics. Part of those bubbles are actually screws that were screwed in too deep, causing the plastic to rise.... sucks but it IS a KO so thats to be expected

Thanks, I'm going to have to find me some of that.
I think it would be perfect for Classics TC.

Very nice job. Personally, I think I'd have tried to get hold of a Wheeljack head and gone for Slicer; Freeway would have worked better with a Tracks body (actually a straight Swerve repaint would be dead on), as he started life as a Corvette too.

But still, he looks really nice.

I think you (and some others) know that I've had a Slicer planned for quite some time now, so you'll eventually see him from me :)  I'd still love if Transrepro would be able to fill my order for my Slicer head. I placed my order the very week Ken came down with the serious medical problems he continues to recover from.

I really think you've done a great job on this piece, man. I have to say you're a man after my own heart with your customs as of late. Powered Convoy, Alt customs . . . I think I've found my kitbashing twin.

Keep up the great work, buddy! :thumb

I believe they're the Grimlock 'Boss' ones from Reprolabels.
