Here's my take on Alt Doublecross. I wanted to give him monster heads for hands in a nod to the original and becaus I always imagined them still talking in robot mode. However that meant giving him bigger wheels so the Monsterbot became a Monster Car

So with the help of a few bits of lego and some Zoid parts I give you Alt Doublecross.

Robot mode looks great, and the hands are awesome...

...but those wheels. Uh. Alternate mode is a bit of a letdown and the wheels REALLY need to be toned down, or the vehicle mode toned UP! Add some color splash and maybe some dirt details to make it look like a mud bogger as it has that look going for it. The vehicle mode looks incomplete yet I love the robot mode.

For my recommendations on the vehicle mode, I'd trim back the front fenders a bit (as they do for some boggers) and maybe rework the legs just a TAD. Ditch the spoiler, too. Add some vehicle graphics and some dirt-like weathering all over it.

    You have some nice work.

That is one hell of an original idea, and well executed. I agree some mud or color detail will help with the overall apperance. Great work.

It's nice to see more obscure characters get cool kitbashes. If there was a way to add the spark feature to this guy he'd kick all sorts of ass. ^_^

Definately looks like some mechanically-inclined redneck got his hands on an RSX and an old Ford Highboy setup. Once you throw some tan (ala dried mud) on the sides and alla round the car it'll look tons better.

I like your homage to G1 with the skulls for hands; too bad there wasn't an easier way to execute it.
