Hey

My Alt Blurr is finally finished. Well he may need some touch ups on the head but the final product is pretty much here. He sports the head of (cybertron?) blurr and recoloured mirage reprolabels.

IT looks cool but I think I would have went with a sky or baby blue for the body.

 

Yeah its not a traditional Blurr colour, but its such a nice blue, same colour as my fiance's car actually

Ooh, that is indeed a purdy blue - shame there's so much red poking through in bot mode.

On a side note, since he's got a Blurr head, does that mean you have an Alt Rodimus head to throw my way? =3

Looks cool. Nice to see someone else with the guts to bash a "rare" Alt.
Any plans to hit up the missed spots of red in bots mode ???

 

You should go over the last pieces with a careful brush of black or metal. Black if you're going for a "factory" look and metal for a more realistic one.

 

I'm not keen on the Mirage labels for this bash (or for Alt Mirage anyways, for that matter), but I LOVE this blue you used! I'm not sure how I feel about the yellow, but I don't think it bothers me. I DO think this mold is great for Blurr.

Overall, nice work buddy!

Thanks for the comments. Sorry, that roddy head is spoken for (it is on my Roadbuster, not sure if Ive posted him on here yet). I will have to go over a few parts on him though thats for sure.
The reprolabels I think help break him up a bit, and if Blurr had an earth mode, he would have to be covered in race decals. These are the best I found for him

I like it. I've still got my Cybertron Blurr head around here somewhere to do the same thing. Right after I finish my Throttlebots.

 

I love it. The blue, the hands, the labels....I think it works perfectly. Stunning.
