Help me out here Guitar Players!!!

I'm trying to learn a song here. The song is Bailey By: Making April.

Here are the chords I've been using.(Capo 2)

I don't think the F#m sounds right. I'm playing it like this (Capo 2) x22000

Here's what the song sounds like.

    Here it is live

Can anyone tell me if the F#m is right? The rest sounds fine to me.

Also, can anyone tell me the order to the chords in the intro?

    Many Thanks for any help.

244222 is right for F#m- that's an Fm you're playing. As for the OP, Capo 2 022000 or x22000 should work for that chord, but I don't have enough of an ear to say if it's the right one.

It still doesn't sound right :(

I'm begging to wonder if that chord is even right. I've fixed the youtube links so now everything should work.

Please help me find the correct chords. I'm not experienced enough to figure it out.

Once again, thanks to anyone that helps!!!

K listened and figured it out cause I am nice and shit.

The song is transcribed in A major, but it's played in B. The author of the tab doesn't directly say to put a capo on the second fret, but you can and play those chord shapes (same shapes played with capo, just moved up two frets in relation to the capo).

Alternatively, you could play it without a capo and play B major, F# major, G# minor, and E major chords. Try it and get back with me.

I think it's sounding best with the capo 2. But the f#m is still bothering me. There has to be something that I'm not grasping. Would I bar the 2nd fret in relation to the capo while playing f#m?

How's it being played live? If I can at least figure that out I'll be satisfied.

Many thanks for putting up with my inexperience.

If you're playing it with the capo then that f#m should be played as 466444, it's really a G#m in the song, just called F#m in relation to the capo and the fact that the tab is in A instead of B.

Thanks!!! Now I just have to work on my F#m :)

So the chords for the live video should be A, E, F#m, D? I don't have the ear to tell. In the video is he playing with or without a capo?

Yeah, he's got the capo on the live video. The reason your F#min sounds funky is because he's playing an F#min7. play it like this with the capo on 24222(22). thats the 2nd fret in relation to the capo.

That's alright...I think that's the first time I've made a guitar comment that made it look like I know stuff. :)
