But that was the name of the episode, John.

For me too, I hope we see someone from Star Wars some day into the future.

Do the episodes have title cards? I've never noticed. I watch my shows on the 'net so it's not unusual to have a file name like Alphas.S01E04.HDTV blah blah blah. Even if it's not your own invention it still amuses me.

They do, Wikipedia has their titles right [and before you ask, yes, there are links to prove in the end of the article].

The episodes aired thus far are called:

"Cause and Effect" - Ep. 2
"Anger Management" [ironically] - Ep. 3
    "Rosetta" - Ep. 4
"Never Let Me Go" - ep. 5.
"Bill and Gary's Excellent Adventure" - ep. 6.
"Catch and Release" - ep. 7.
"A Short Time In Paradise" - ep. 8.

By the way, am I the only dude who dislikes Gary with passion? Everyone seems to worship the guy.

I tend to being blunt and honest to a fault so I guess that's why he cracks me up so much. You know exactly what's on his mind at all times. :D

I think he is annoying because he has the irritating habit of getting in everyone's way in solving the case, and the fact that everyone has to repeat the sentences to him twice or three times is also quite annoying.

But yeah, he has his moments of awesomeness as well: "I'm not ******ed, I'm an Autist. YOU are the ******ed." is my favorite, Autists should say that more often.

But I prefer Rosen [dude is a badass in the middle of a superhero team] and Hicks [holy shit I love that ability].

That means Syfy is not completely lost.

I just watched the newest episode "Blind Spot" and man, this show is ridicuously underrated, its building up to be one of the best shows in television! This episode was very well-wrriten, had tension, expanded the universe, continued with the "which side are you on" theme and brought an interesting character to the main cast [I won't spoil the surprise, but this person is pretty much the Lockdown of Alphas from now on].

And just like I predcited: WAR. WAR EVERYWHERE.

THis show just keeps getting better and better.

Is anyone still watching this? Most recent episode was pretty good.

So - I'm betting that while Dr Rosens daughter is dead she's not entirely 'gone' - *glowy hands*

I totally came to this late. I'm only on it because the UK SyFy channel has been doing double bill repeats every Sunday. But even then I just taped them and put them to one side. Now I've just watched the first five of season one and I'll be rattling through the rest.
5* here in the UK is apparently airing the start of season two tonight at 10pm so that's somewhat nice timing. :)

Damn! was just looking up when this was coming back and it seems that Scifi has cancelled it!! How could they do that after the cliffhanger!

I'm sure if star trek had started on tv nowadays it would have been cancelled and vanished too. Grr!

If it costs money studios don't want to produce it anymore. SyFy would rather have more face off, scifi cooking, and other cheaper crappy reality shows. The network is slowly dying the writing was on the wall when they changed the name from SCI FI to SYFY. I see it eventually going the way of G4.

    What cliffhanger?
They're all dead. The end.
Though, while I really enjoyed season 1, season 2 was kind of a mess. I'm not surprised it got cancelled.

Luckily, Canada has already renewed Continuum for season 2 (it's a Canadian production and season 1 finished airing months ago over there), so whether SyFy picks it up again or not, there will be more episodes.

Yes most of Syfy's SciFI shows aren't actually produced by them anymore, the ones that are don't seem to last long.

I guess season 3 could be just Gary wandering round the station poking people going "Guys!, Guys!" :lol
