I want the proper site to get the credit, not one that feeds of it. I wasn't talking about this image but the TF3 related news that i posted. Problem is i replied in the wrong topic, meant to reply to the poster one.

Snake Eyes looks like he was designed by Sean Galloway:

    Got Cheeks?

He did the last spider-man tv show - that's just my guess. give it a chance, might be cool.

As I guessed from the last image, Bumblebee is stylized a bit like animated. Although it's stylized, the way all the parts compact into each other makes much more visual sense than Bay's walking kibble junkpile non-aesthetic in the movies. This style could be adapted well into a live action style. Too bad they screwed up the movies. This show looks like it could be pretty cool...

Gotta say, I gotta give Hasbro credit. All the designs look very high quality to me. I even like the cute truck (better than Pixar's hideous Cars movie) and I even dig My Little Pony! Super cute and stylized - Powerpuff style.

Looks like the Hub is going to give Nick and CN a run for their money. Competition is good.

Hahaha yeah I was surprised how good that Tonka truck looks.

It looks like Hasbro is REALLY trying to make quality material, not just a cash-in channel.

That's exactly what I said. I wouldn't be surprised if it does end up to be his work.

Great minds think alike - sorry I didn't have time to read the whole thread. If it's not him, he's being ripped off - but I bet it his him. The Hub spared no expense - they got some top artists I know. I think Sean's work will be good for GI JOE.

BTW, love your avatar - AdventureTime is a big hit in my house :)

I like the way he looks, I just hope he doesn't talk through the radio. I mean take some ideas from bay but not the mute bee. I think this will be a very amazing TF show, mabe like if Don animated and top TF writers came on.. They need to get furman in there!

Well almost. I noticed you're not a fan of the movie's "non-aesthetic". I'm actually a big fan of the film design and toys. :p

Damn I hope the writing on Transformers Prime is insanely good because I just don't like the look of Bumblebee at all. I know some people really love the movie look but I'm not looking forward to yet another line of movie looking toys or what Transformers Prime Starscream will look like.

Oddly enough I actually like the Snake Eyes look. Given that the cartoon will have a ton of Joes and Cobras showing up keeping it simple means they can do more than the tiny cast too many cartoons these days get stuck with.

For me the Animated sensibility comes from the strong silhouette and 'line of action' posing, as well as the superhero-esque proportion - especially the broad shoulders and narrow hips/thighs. Some have mentioned/complained that Bumblebee looks like a person in a costume, which is a common critique/bitch levied at Animated character designs.

Aside from not looking like a flat-colored cel, this promo image looks a bunch like any fan-art attempt to draw movie Bumblebee in the Animated style - to me anyway. I can't say much beyond that it looks interesting, and I'm confident Hasbro & Takara can make a decent toy out of it.
