Many modifications later (sorry no tummy gun) I created an autobot classic out of a deluxe Brawl.

In alt mode I took off the rockets, chopped the top turret so that it was just a raised hatch. I then chopped an inch off the cannon where it widens and not only took the tassles off the front but removed the square protrutions off the front.
In bot mode I hollowed out the chain gun at the other end of the cannon. I also gave him a Highscore head and Gundam hands, lost the claw and added a little battle damage.

Hope you like it! More G1 ideas to come!

pretty slick man. nice paint job too. Its tempting to do that and make the barrel just pop into the belly after transformation.

This is a great custom. I like it very much, really reminiscent of Warpath. But instead of cutting the barrell, you could have drilled a hole in the chest, and put the removable barrell end in it. Just look at the this picture:

if he had the barrell sticking out of his chest, he would have been dead on!

Warpath had more of a chest gun than belly gun but I prefer it the way you did it. Excellent job. Very realistic, modern day Warpath.

If you would have left the barrel alone then this would have been the first Warpath to have a firing projectile.

Great stuff... I was planning to do something like this... but not nearly as extensive. I probably wouldn't have taken the trouble to remove so many of the extra bits, but it actually improves the figure and makes him more like the original Warpath. Nice!

Kudos! I hope to do half as well when I steal your ideas. :)

That looks fantastic! That mold works much better as Warpath than I would have expected, especially with the plow and talons removed. And boy, that High Score head is turning out to be really useful for a lot of customs.

Personally I think you made the right choice keeping the cannon on his arm. It's a more logical design anyway, and it keeps it from becoming a parts-former.

Nice work! Man, I love minibot-based customs. :)
