They missed a good chance there to pull in some G1 retro there. I am just happy they remember Warpath's name.

 

I really hope Warpath and Crosshairs gets used again in future

Its really good to see names not seen in twenty years being used again.

 

The first thing I thought of when I saw "Warpath" was

"Movie Gears!"

 

I WOULD BUY THE TOY IF IT WAS iN THE movie

 

...they can't just only make toys of characters from the actual movie. they have to make new characters and molds too. i'd seriously get bored of seeing the same five autobots everywhere in the same color schemes they had in the movie.

And despite criticisms the toy got from the fandom in Cybertron for being unposeable and small, I'd welcome a Scattorshot repaint in whatever colors and character and would definitely buy it.

I'd also love to see some Energon Terrorcons. A robotic scorpion was already in the movie so a robotic bug, jaguar, eagle and dinosaur shouldn't be out of place.

 

Storm Surge? You'd think Sea Spray would be a more appropriate name, for the colors they chose for him.

Seriously! I can see maybe not just sticking to making him a tank but at the very least he should be a military vehicle. His freaking name is Warpath after all.

I think the should have made the hoverctaft into Seaspray because it looks just like him in those colors!

 

Warpath's a jeep? Pass.

Seriously. No more. Make new movie style molds instead. This has got to be the lamest line ever save for the actual Movie TF. Everything else has sucked thus so far, full of repaints, craptastic legends, FAB, and those horrible battle whatever thingies that clog the pegs like hair on septic tanks.

Those would have made EXCELLENT repaints, especially Seaspray, that mold is perfect for him.

Why does Warpath come with the speed planet key and Storm Surge the Decepticon one?

Anyway, I like them all.

 

I was wondering the same thing myself. It's not a detail many have noticed or care about.

 

How about that storm surge is a con. so he gets the con key. As for the speed key, I think I have enough earth keys. So it's welcome, at least it's not a recolored beast key.

 

They do look like there G1 counterpart.

 

Oddly enough, it was the first thing I thought of when looking at them.
